Art-wise, I would just love art for any of my fics. If they're not inspiring, then anything schmoopy, really.

Fic-wise, I like fics about relationships and emotions, whether slash or friendship. I like case!fic and angst-with-a-happy-ending (happy ending is a must, really) and men finding it hard to communicate and deep feelings of undying love and cuddling, platonic or otherwise, and I like asexual characters. I adore people saying 'I love you' in unconventional ways/actions, and avoiding the actual words, or not needing them. Hurt/Comfort is awesome, and angst and bad things happening are fine, as long as people get some sort of hug afterwards, metaphorical or not. I like Sherlock and Holmes being in love with London (if you could manage a modern fic with Sherlock solving a case involving Liberty's that would be awesome (or, actually, it was founded 1875 so you could even pull off Victorian-era fic), but I realise that would be tricky unless you know the place. Just a mention would probably make me glee, tbh.) I like John and Watson being BAMFy and/or competent and Sherlock and Holmes appreciating that. I have a thing for fic that deals with issues of homophobia, especially subtle homophobia, that ends with the boys coming out on top (of course). Victorian fic dealing with the difficulties of being in love despite the law is also welcome. I love retirement era fic. I like AUs, but I prefer ones that are recognisable as canon but with a slight twist - and something original, not that's been done several times before. Supernatural/magical elements are welcome.

I'm not really interested in porn at this stage, although I'm okay with sex scenes that further the plot. I also really don't want anything with children in it (obviously mention of their existence is fine, but I'm really not the kid!fic type.)

Special requests: I really would prefer not to be writing anything sexually explicit. I've not had a chance to write much ACD lately, so that would be good, but I'm not going to be upset if I get BBC.
