A random list of stuff we like: Sherlock/John feeling each other out — either literally or figuratively. What makes Sherlock, John, or Sherlock/John unique; what other people don't understand about them. Bisexual John. Threesomes (not Jim or Mycroft, please). The Baker Street Irregulars. Bees. Years later, in Sussex. John being a BAMF.

Actually, we prefer BAMF in all characters — woobies and shrinking violets aren't really our thing. We love women being awesome. And "competence porn", people excelling at their roles, doing the things only they can do. Teamwork, team building, found families. Role reversal.

Complex characters (with shades of gray) dealing with their past and present while looking toward their future. PWP can be fun but we love a slow burn where the tension is as much about developing emotional intimacy as it is about the physical. Also like the strength, mutual reliance (and hotness) of settled relationships.

Trust issues. Complicated hurt/comfort. Intense emotion. Broken/jaded people. Secretly needy people. Smart but unwise people. Dark fics. Twists: fics that take unexpected turns, or tweak one element of a familiar character in unexpected ways.

Emotions during sex. Sex in general, and many kinks, especially with BDSM flavors: we love bondage and domination that hits the emotional and psychological elements, not just the physical practices and props. Explorations of consent and trust.

A Sherlock crossover with White Collar, Fringe, or Leverage could be fun. Would love to know what it would look like if John Watson took the Kobayashi Maru test.

The Please Don'ts: NO eating disorders (a trigger for Rand). NO feederism/forced feeding. NO character-bashing. No incest. No suicidal John post-TRF. No vampires or werewolves. No genderswap. No MPREG or Kid!Fic. No watersports or scat, no necrophilia, no shame/humiliation-based kink (embarrassment is another squick for Rand). And no magical healing cock, please — sex for comfort's fine, just not as The Fix for bigger issues.

Hi there! I just wanted to give you heads up about your sign-up with you're co-author. Because of the way things are organized behind scenes (spreadsheets, lots of them!) we'll be communicating with you primarily regarding this submission and not sending emails to both email addresses.
