Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: I would not like to receive a story about people grieving at the end of series two. If writing Sherlock/John, I prefer established relationship fics over getting together fics (getting together fics are fine for other pairings). I don't care for extreme angst or fluff/schmoop, and kidfic or stories about Sherlock and John growing old together are not my thing. No rape or non-con, please. Character studies are an easy way to make me happy. I love seeing slices of any character's every day life, whether that includes a romantic relationship or not. Back stories are awesome - I love to see what characters were up to before canon starts. I also like stories where female characters get depth and definition, play a starring role, or get to ask men out or rescue them from danger (this would be great for Mycroft/Anthea especially). A few things I'm curious about: What's the back story on Lestrade getting back together with his wife in "A Scandal"? Are Sally and Anderson still having their affair? Could Sherlock and Irene possibly be hanging out and being fake dead together? What challenges or trust issues would Sherlock and John face in their relationship after Sherlock's "death"? What, if any, rehab has Sherlock been to, and in what circumstances? Is it possible that John and/or Lestrade would refuse to accept Sherlock's death and even track him down? How does Irene deal with identifying as a lesbian but being attracted to Sherlock? What influences or experiences in John's life make it difficult for him to accept that he has feelings for a man? (Or, if none of those ideas appeal to you, feel free to alter them or discard them completely and focus on some other part of my request.) Please have fun and write a story that you will enjoy too!
