A Holmesian Solstice

Oh, how I love this! That Holmes lets himself be ensnared so easily in his perceived abandonment, that he and Moriarty engage in the politest, oddest sort of wooing ever known to man, and that Moriarty actually sees Watson as his opponent, not Holmes. That last bit was simply fabulous, especially since you'd already made it so clear how effortlessly Watson understands Holmes.
