Doggone Luck - tepidspongebath I'm basing this guess solely on the X-Files reference, as this author has name dropped the X-Files in ficlets before.
Forever Turning Corners - Write_Out Write_Out has done a post-Reichenbach fic for a previous round, and mentioned case fics in her sign up post.
The Deeds of War - dryadinthegrove I think this author may have have written in a similar future-y AU 'verse in the past.
The Adventure of the Dying Private Investigator - iwantthatcoat There's no one specific thing about this fic that I can point to as the reason I suspect iwantthatcoat as the writer, but looking through some of the other guessing posts I see I'm not the only one who came to this conclusion. :D
Etude for Lovers - UrbanHymnal I'm pretty certain about this one based on the writing style and the summary formatting.
