Thanks! I had every intention of asking my beta for help with that, but we were both consumed by Real Life (gasp!). I did make an effort to have my comments sound less like me. And that did seem to work. It’s interesting what graycardinal said about character studies, since so much of my early stuff felt like that to me and I was always feeling as if it was bordering on plotless. I think my Holmestice work is rather distinct from the rest of it. This is where I have my fun with new universes, true enough.
