Oh, this is wonderful – just too, too, too charming! You’ve recreated the feel of the Sherlock Ferret stories, the humorous little touches (“Normally, that publication only features rodent-related news…”) and the way the world of these characters is about everybody being kind to each other, and trying their best – and also Watson Mouse learning big words from Sherlock Ferret and then proudly applying (and misapplying) them for himself. Delightful!
