I have a confession to make. I'd never actually seen "Without a Trace," and so parts of the fic just flew by me (who was this Kincaid man, for instance). But the quiet humor here was so fun, I *wanted* to understand it. So, you know, found the film on Youtube and watched it, and while I'm still laughing over the original, came back to yours.
It's hilarious It's in-character. It's clever, and just feels like such an extension of that great comedy. I'm still smiling! So thanks for the double-gift on this one.
