Well, that's it for this round!
We've posted exchange gifts for 41 fanwork creators in just under 2 weeks.
Reveals and the master list will be posted on the summer solstice - Monday, June 20th.
In the mean time, read the fic or view the art or listen to the podfic. And comment here or our AO3 collection to let these creators know how much we've all appreciated their work.
If you'd like to take a guess about who created which work, feel free to leave it in the comments. But we won't tell until the 20th. :)

Date: 2016-06-28 09:34 pm (UTC)SHENANIGANS: I asked you for help on a Sekrit Project, and you turn right around and guess me for said Sekrit Project?? But then I suppose I never did tell you what the Sekrit Project actually was, and I ask you for help with so many things, no one instance is prolly all that memorable. :-P
VIDLET: Correct guessers get to prompt a treat, and whaddaya know, I've got a good chunk of source and notes-about-cool-bits going begging for a use. Prompt me a topic or a 'verse (nearly anything in the vid is fair game, plus I've got a few more things sitting around that never went into the vid, try me).

Date: 2016-06-28 09:55 pm (UTC)Part of the fun of Holmestice for me is to offer treats to people who correctly guess my contribution(s). Would you enjoy prompting a vidlet? Topic or 'verse, and lookit, here's a handy list of suggested 'verses! Or another 'verse, if you'd rather: there's actually a bunch of stuff on my hard-drive that never made it into the vid, try me. (No BBC Sherlock, please, because I just don't have much of anything to offer there.)

Date: 2016-06-28 11:02 pm (UTC)I'll have to ponder the generous prompt offer; I can just barely imagine gifset requests...

Date: 2016-06-28 11:41 pm (UTC)And that's so generous of you ^_^ (I was just thinking it's lucky that not everyone decided to take part in the guessing post because I fancy you might have ended up being very busy indeed ^_^)
I must admit I don't have to give my choice of 'verse much thought - would something based on The Hound of the Baskervilles (2002) be possible? The Roxburgh and Hart one? Ian Hart is probably my favourite Watson. I've actually just recently read your post on the production - Roxburgh's Holmes is an interesting version but it always saddens me that Hart's Watson never got a "proper" Holmes. (I know he played with Rupert Everett too but Everett's Holmes didn't grab me either.)

Date: 2016-06-29 12:47 am (UTC)Eh, it's a prompt, it doesn't need to be a fully-conceptualized idea. If there's a theme or a character you enjoy, or a 'verse or set of 'verses you'd like a more extensive tour of... But there's no rush, either. If you want to sit on it until an idea strikes you, that's good, too. :-)

Date: 2016-06-29 02:42 am (UTC)Oo, Hart's Watson! Yes, I'm pretty sure I still have source for that (and if not, can lay hands on it again). Let me see what I can work up for him.
Re: Audiovisual deductions
Date: 2016-06-30 08:01 pm (UTC)As to a vidlet...hmm. Let me toss out a couple of thoughts:
(1) This song from Pippin (assuming LJ will let the link through) has long been a favorite of mine, and in the wake of the present vid it occurs to me (notwithstanding a gender-specific lyric or two) that there might be a window into one or another Holmesian canon from there.
(2) Alternately, going in a completely different direction, something Lestrade-centric from 22CEN will always be greeted with delight from this quarter.
