Thanks! I had fun coming up with all the POVs by gender and class. There's a touch of Huck Finn's hardscrabble pragmatism in the Irregulars, everything wrong with Victorian class in the club, and in Lestrade and Jake are the two paths to take out of the slum - fight the darkness or try to own it.
And of course the fun of not only imagining a bewildered Sir Arthur Sullivan wondering why he just got smacked by that tall fellow, but all this concern and worry for Watson dismissed by him with two sentences when he finally writes another story.
