I rarely dare to try these, but I'm going to be bold and make a guess as to the author of the wonderful Holmestice gift I received this month. If you have not yet had a chance to read Well Met By Moonlight (http://holmestice.livejournal.com/292124.html), I recommend it as highly as possible. You will be a happier person when you finish it that you were when you began!
So, my guess is that this witty, charming, sensitive story was written by mundungus42, who also wrote the fabulous The Mystery of Ill Opinions (http://archiveofourown.org/works/1110736), which I had the great, good fortune to receive in the December 2013 Holmestice exchange.
If I am wrong, and, generally speaking, that is certainly a possibility, then there are two amongst us who can seamlessly weave Shakespeare references into her plots and her characters' dialogue and integrate the Holmesian cast into the Bard's dramatis personae while keeping the former delightfully in character.
