I have had this entry open for three days, and I haven't had the words 'till now. Wow. First, YES. If there's going to be D/s between them, I see John as the top. Oh, god, yes. Then there's the art itself. I love the monochrome, the bold lines and muscular bodies. I love how recognizable they are, even Sherlock's hands look like BC's actual hands, omg. In the past, I have asked the universe for a rendering of Sherlock with his hands tied behind his back, scapulae flared, as in that nude sheet-grasping moment in ASIB, and this is as close to perfect as I will get. Just gorgeous. Finally, I love all the marks and signs of their play. The way John is possessively wrapping Sherlock's head with his hand and arm, and his left hand is squeezing his face speaks volumes. John's gentle frown suggests a concentration on expressing his feelings that we usually read about, but rarely see expressed so well in art. There is nothing about this that I don't adore. It's this kind of art that I like to think would make Martin and Benedict a bit uncomfortable around each other. ;)
