Things I love in canon fic:

• First forays into the underground queer culture of the era.
• Details! I love historical details, titbits about the Victorian era, etc.
• Either retirement era domesticity or something on the other end of the spectrum --  what were they like when they were younger? What if they met when they were both in their early twenties?

Things I love in BBC fic:

• Sherlock and John being deeply in love but not being openly affectionate, actions speaking louder than words, etc.
• Post-S4 with no mention of Eurus and Moriarty -- just not a big fan of these characters in BBC. I do like Mary and Rosie, however--I think they're both fun additions to any fic (and I don't mind how Mary is portrayed--"evil" or not is fine with me).

Prompt ideas that can applied to either canon or BBC 'verse:

• SH and Mary Morstan are embroiled in a war to win JW's heart (can be either a light-hearted rivalry or intense) -- SH wins, but Mary gets a happy ending with someone else...or not. You decide!
• Another literary/film/TV detective vs. SH -- SH gets competitive. JW is amused.
• SH and/or JW have to get in drag for a case (or get in drag just for the hell of it).
• SH or JW teaching the other to dance. 

 

Special requests: It would be great to be paired with someone who has more detail than not re: what they want to see in their fic; the more direction the merrier. Thanks, mods!
