Thank you so much for another successful round of Holmestice! We can't do it without you guys. We're always so excited to see what gets created every round and this round is no exception.

The mods want to say THANK YOU to all the creators that joined us for this round of Holmestice. You folks put in a lot of hard work and made some really great fanworks. If you'd like to post to AO3, you may do so at your leisure we'll take off moderation to the Collection. If you'd like a link on your LJ entry, just send us an email and we'll add one.

Reveals and the Master List go up on December 21st, but until then read and comment on all the lovely fanworks. Please do NOT respond to comments (except on AO3, which maintains anonymity) or post your fanwork elsewhere on the Internet until reveals go up in the community!

If you'd like to take a guess at who created what in this round, a list of all the participants is below the LJ cut. Go ahead and take a guess. It's all in good fun.

In October I posted the numbers of how many requests were made for which fandoms (focusing on requests since that's what drives what's created). Here's how it turned out, for 41 participants + 2 bonus works = 43 total gifts:

  • ACD: 6 (14%) or 7 (16%)

  • BBC: 31 (72%) - includes one crossover with non-Holmesian fandom

  • Elementary: 2 (5%)

  • Granada: 0

  • Ritchie: 0

  • More!Holmes: 4 (9%) - Mary Russell, Seven Percent Solution, 22nd Century

one of the Seven Percent fic writers listed their work as ACD too, which increases the ACD count to 7 (16%).
