Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: I enjoy post series 3 fix-its, either first time or established relationship, well-informed historical AUs, mature and in-character John and Sherlock, casefics in which the case and relationship aspects are related (i.e. the case somehow furthers John and Sherlock's relationship), banter, all the punctuation in the right places (esp. for dialogue), not talking about emotions but still getting all the feels, psychological issues, and happy endings
I don't like too much focus on Sherlock and Mycroft's relationship (even if it's not incest) or Sherlock's childhood and home life, mainly because I would prefer to see him interacting with John. :)
I also really do not like 2nd-person POV.
Some ideas for art in line with the above prompts: Victorian H&W with a (their) child, fantasy soulmates AU, retirement smut, sickroom fluff, His Dark Materials crossover, or a scene from one of my fics. ;)

Back for a second round; let's see what happens.

First disclaimer: as noted last time, I'm in the tiny subgroup here that plays in neither the Elementary sandbox nor that of BBC Sherlock; my Holmeses simply lie elsewhere along the very wide continuum of Holmesian fandom.  And they range pretty widely, from ACD canon to 22nd Century and back.

On balance, I'm more of a lit-fan than a screen Holmes fan, though there are exceptions.  Favorite films of mine include Murder By Decree and Without A Clue, I admit to finding Young Sherlock Holmes a guilty pleasure, and ithen there are those two obscure TV movies that brought Holmes into the present day via cryogenics (The Return of Sherlock Holmes with Michael Pennington and Margaret Colin, or 1994 Baker Street with Anthony Higgins and Debrah Farentino), both of which I really rather liked.

On the literary side: I have read disturbingly widely in post-Doyle pastiche, up to and including the complete run of the old Holmesian Federation printzine; while I won't claim to have read everything, trying to list everything I've read would take up much too much space here.  If there is a pastiche or series you've always wanted to read/write fic for, mention it in comments, and where our interests coincide, I will happily edit this signup right up till deadline.

In this context, two notes: my favorite Mycroft is Hodel & Wright's Enter the Lion; my favorite Moriarty is Kurland's in The Infernal Device and its sequels.

My interests in Holmesian fare run more to gen than to romance, and where they do run to romance (mostly 22nd Century, Holmes/Russell) they tend to run along canon- or subcanon-consistent lines. The pairing notations above should *not* be taken to suggest that I don't want Holmes-centric fiction -- I definitely hope to see a good deal of Holmes in whatever story you choose to write -- they're simply indications of what pairings I prefer in the relevant canons or subcanons.

In terms of story types, I enjoy casefic, character vignette, and day-in-the-life material equally well, and I am especially a devotee of the well and creatively conceived crossover (although you're totally *not* obligated to write me a crossover if your muse doesn't run that way). Character-appropriate humor is always a plus. And while I've expressed a preference for Holmes-centric material above, in 22nd Century I'd be happy to see something focused on one or more of the Irregulars.

Special requests:
As noted above, I'm not a good match for a recipient looking for erotica/porn (though romance is certainly not out of the question).  OTOH, I'm pretty flexible apart from that preference: I've done character vignettes, slice-of-life snapshots, and plot-driven stories, comedy/crack and serious yarns, and a scary number of crossovers.  And I'm certainly open both to reading and writing non-traditional versions of the canon characters...or straight ACD canon, if that's what's needed.   As last time, I'll be very interested to see where the matching takes us.
