Warnings:possible butchering of both Lovecraft and Sherlock universes, and some disturbing (?) scenes
Summary: Once upon a time man’s soul was very powerful, but then man made a pact with the Elder Gods, and in exchange for their protection, they gave up that power. Joan needs to recover that power if she wants to live, and Sherlock is more than who he seems to be.
Notes: Well disassembly_rsn suggested a BBC version of A Study in Emerald, but uh somehow the end product was made with elements of the Hounds of the Baskervilles and Lovecraft’s creation of the Hounds of Tindalos. I’m not sure if this still counts as being in A Study in Emerald verse though. Uh, it’s my first time writing female John, and I hope this whole thing doesn’t disappoint (much).
