That was utterly, utterly heartbreaking. The scene where Sherlock cups John's face, and "We can't go back to what we were." - "No. Only forward." <3 I really felt for Laura, and the way you've captured Sherlock and John at the end there is so bittersweet. Whichever way this went, it was going to be a hollow victory. Thank you for some most exquisite pain.
