Fics for DeeLaundry: The Norbury Triptych

Title: The Norbury Triptych (three short fics)
Recipient: Dee_Laundry
Author: [personal profile] vulgarweed
Verse: BBC, Watson & Holmes, Sherlock & Co
Characters/Pairings: Holmes & Watson, Holmes/Watson
Rating: Mature
Warnings: Mention of crime, violence, mental health issues, drug use
Summary: Three short fics exploring the idea of platonic D/s as it might be expressed by these two, in three different versions, and yet still always themselves. Because sometimes Holmes needs a strong word from Watson to feel safe and understood.

Follow the Lights (BBC)

Pusherman (Watson & Holmes comics)

Champagne Supernova (Sherlock & Co podcast)

These are each marvelous, and they stand so well together in showing the differences in not only the Watsons but the Holmeses.

Holmes of the comics is so adult and self-aware; BBC is histrionic (in the colloquial sense); and podcast is my beloved ND king, too overwhelmed by the sensory to even begin to have the emotions. <3 <3 <3
