I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. This is impossible to watch without smiling, it is possibly the most cheerful thing ever created. All of the scenes are absolutely PERFECT for the lyrics and for visual parallels between the adaptations, I am so impressed with absolutely everything and need to go watch it a billion more times now!

I am dead. I am deceased. RIP me. This is too cute and too, too perfect. What an utterly unimpeachable vid and to think it was made just for me... I know the feeling. In the Summer 2016 Holmestice I got the amazing "Something Good Will Come From That" vid with about 100 Holmes sources in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Holmes on celluloid. I have a feeling it's from this same vidder.

Dancing Man arms! \o/ LOL, I couldn't resist that little parallel. It was giving me flashbacks to that Monty Python skit where they do "Wuthering Heights" in semaphore!

newspaper medley That was legit my favorite part to vid. Look at all these dorks messing around with their props, I love them!

KILTS Hee hee hee, once I picked "The Proclaimers" for the music, the very first thing I thought of were the kilts in New Russian Holmes and I cackled fanatically to myself! The kilt shot was the first one I laid down in the editing :)

the Murder by Decree 'we're in bed together' edit THANK YOU FOR NOTICING!!! I was sneakily proud of that little edit. I got lucky and found shots of them in bed with basically the same lighting and I was like HALLELUJAH, THE SLASH CAN BE MORE THAN JUST IMPLIED! THE ELEMENTS ARE COMING TOGETHER, SIR!

1001 adorable domestic moments They are just such a domestic couple, I had an embarrassment of riches to choose from. Someone on my dash today was saying, 'isn't 221B simply the cosiest place in all literature?' and it's true.

HANDS at the 3 minute mark (here, I died) I love those glancingly tender little touches, too, I'm so glad you liked that sequence.

tandem bicycle I was telling Sang (who beta'd this vid with her usual brilliance) that it was not until late in the brainstorming process that I remembered the tandem bicycle! I love that thing :)

I just love how you found all the candid-feeling giggle-fests that say "these two people just really like one another." That's really the crux of them, isn't it? Not only is that how I feel about the two of them in general, that is how *your* fics always make me feel about them with particular vividness. The way you write catches so much of the banter and kvetching and just...joy...their deep joy in being together through the mundane as well as the extraordinary moments of life. It's one of the reasons I love your stories so much, and I was hoping to catch a little bit of that same feeling to give back :)
