I love the way John is grabbing Sherlock's jaw and that they both look completely masculine and age appropriate. The lighting is soft but it doesn't soften them.
Also, Sherlock's hands being bound but John being underneath him is incredibly hot.
Thank you so much!

Love, of all things, John's wound. It's ragged, much more visceral than I like to imagine, but has an air of being a badge of honor more than a wound. I also love all the marks of a different sort over Sherlock. Speaks to a long and, shall we just say, creative shared life together.
As Jawn would say if their positions were reversed: Amazing.

First, YES. If there's going to be D/s between them, I see John as the top. Oh, god, yes.
Then there's the art itself. I love the monochrome, the bold lines and muscular bodies. I love how recognizable they are, even Sherlock's hands look like BC's actual hands, omg. In the past, I have asked the universe for a rendering of Sherlock with his hands tied behind his back, scapulae flared, as in that nude sheet-grasping moment in ASIB, and this is as close to perfect as I will get. Just gorgeous.
Finally, I love all the marks and signs of their play. The way John is possessively wrapping Sherlock's head with his hand and arm, and his left hand is squeezing his face speaks volumes. John's gentle frown suggests a concentration on expressing his feelings that we usually read about, but rarely see expressed so well in art. There is nothing about this that I don't adore.
It's this kind of art that I like to think would make Martin and Benedict a bit uncomfortable around each other. ;)

That line. That line is almost s wonderful and true as the painting itself. You've made my evening.

After that video of Benedict pinching Martin's bottom on the red carpet (because he could not pass that Hobbit tush by), I have to imagine they've given it some thought. :)

Apologies for not being more eloquent, but this erotic masterpiece seems to have robbed me of words (and you don't want to know how long I had to search my memory for the word "eloquent").
This is STUNNING. Oh my God, I can't tear my eyes away! I second/third/fourth the awesomeness of seeing a realistically-rendered John in a dominant role, even as he maneuvers bound Sherlock on top of him (and the fingers on Sherlock's neck and jaw and in his hair... just unggggggh!). It's an incredible study in contrast between strength/power and submission, free and bound, hurt and tenderness, tension and relaxation, black and white, marks from battle and marks from play- it's one of the most sophisticated pieces of erotic art I've ever seen, from concept to composition to execution. Unbelievable work, Mystery Artist, and I hope you don't mind that once the reveal goes up I'm going to be stalking you to find as much of your art as I can find, because this is just incredible. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this incredible gift that you've given us all! BRAVISSIMAAA!!!!

The thing I really love here is the sense of a moment in time--the marks on Sherlock's shoulders and biceps (but his hands are still bound)--yum. And all the bite marks, including on John's shoulder...no gag, mmm?
