I guess I'm so used to expecting strong female characters and/or social commentary from gardnerhill, that not seeing any works that fell obviously under one of those groupings left me floundering. Also, I think you've confirmed my guess of armchair_elvis for "like lightning (make the earth like day)"! That's an astute note you made above about the third person, present tense, so I checked, and that indeed fits prior works by armchair_elvis :-)
