"The Fish That Never Swam" actually felt really distinctively gardnerhill to me. I can't say why exactly, but something about the combination of fluff, tongue-in-cheek humor, nature, finances, and diegetic metacommentary makes me think of them (? I'm just now realizing that I don't know anyone's pronouns).
