Oh, this is so nuanced and intricately done. I just adore the strength of the friendship you've drawn here, and the power of their affection for one another, so carefully expressed. I don't read much ACD based fic, but I must say, I enjoy the way the Victorian style restricts and reveals all at the same time. Beautiful.
