I didn't know this canon at all but have Googled my way into even deeper appreciation of what you've created (and a YouTube video with English subtitles!). I am in awe of your skill with illustration, the way you've composed this image, the way Jane has nestled her head against Shirley's neck and face and the way her feet are practically kicking in glee (I also love her shoes!). I love the almost beatific smile on Shirley's face, the suggestion of stoic strength that thaws in the warmth of Jane's affection. These feel like a sketch and a still from an animated film for the intelligence and character in the faces and the way everything in the composition feels in motion. I love these so much. Absolutely stunning work!!!
