Thank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful comment; I'm so happy you enjoyed watching this! I really love making multiverse Holmes vids, and I got terribly excited the second I saw that you had asked for something like that in your sign-up this round. I wound up making most of this vid during the sign-up phase before assignments went out, and it was by looking through your sign-up, as well as everyone else's, that I was able to find some new sources I wasn't familiar with, like the G5 Sherlock game and kitten!Holmes, LOL! (I had hoped to be able to include all the verses in your sign-up, but unfortunately the Charlotte Holmes book covers were so text-based, rather than illustration based, that I couldn't figure out how to work them in. There's always one that gets away!)

I have added an AO3 post for this vid now, and once I have a little more time and energy post-holidays I will add a little post-script listing all the sources so that they'll be easy to find if any of them spark curiosity.

Thanks so much for the thought and appreciation you put into the vid's larger themes -- it's a light little thing, but I truly did want it to celebrate the idea that, amid all the dazzling variety of Holmeses and all the unlimited ways the character can be, has been, and will continue to be imagined, the great constant is that all the Watsons will forever be gazing at their Holmeses in wonder and trying somehow to capture their brilliance and celebrate it. There is no single way that either Watson's love or Holmes's character can be defined -- but that's a good thing, because it means there's room for everyone!

So happy you enjoyed it! Thank you for being such a generous creator and commenter throughout the fest, too!! It's been lovely getting to know you a bit through your thoughtful reactions. Wishing you very happy holidays :)

Aaaah you're wonderful!! I'm amazed that my sign-up sparked all of this!

This is so incredibly well-put! Yes!
