Ooooh, thank you so much for this! BBC Moriarty is such a fascinating, creepy/compelling figure, and you get that aross really well. I love what you've done with the spider metaphor, and all the sensual details. This is deliciously creepy, and the language is so evocative.

Moriarty making Sherlock face things - truths - he doesn't really want to is so spot on, I love it. Sherlock is reticent as usual, unwilling to admit to anything, but in the end ... he ends up being more genuine, more vulnerable, than he wants to. Because Moriarty knows exactly how to get under his skin. Which is exactly how I like my Moriarty. *g*

Because I’m the one you felt obligated to bring home like a lost puppy when I had that gun in my mouth. You’re the one who begged me to keep you talking when you slipped with a needle. Darling Sherlock, you’ve needed me since you laid eyes on me.

Oooh, that's such an interesting AU idea! And everything about the way they fit together is just excellent. It's a really cool look at Sherlock and Moriarty, the whole push-and-pull between them. And like the commenter above says, the lighttower image is so very fitting.

Thank you again for writing this for me! ♥ ♥ ♥
