The game's afoot (again)

Name: oldshrewsburyian (also on Tumblr as such)
Contact email: oldshrewsburyian@gmail.com
AO3 username: OldShrewsburyian

I will create:
A fanwork of the following type(s): fic, podfic
In one or more of the following parts of fandom: Books: Doyle - Canon; Mary Russell Series; A Study in Emerald; TV/Film: Granada TV Show; Elementary.
Comics/radio/other: Bert Coules radio dramatizations; Rathbone radio
For one or more of the following relationships: Holmes & Watson Gen/Friendship (always shipping-friendly) is as far as I go except in the Granada!verse, where I'm happy to ship them. If you want pining and soulful angst, however, or platonic/queerplatonic pairings, wind me up and set me loose. I will write for Watson/Mary Morstan. Also, I *love* exploring the friendships and secondary characters of all these 'verses, so feel free to ask for, e.g., something focusing on one of the awesome ladies of canon, or the Holmes & Watson & Lestrade friendship.
I like working with one or more of the following categories: Fluff; Angst; Post-Reichenbach; Hurt/Comfort; Established Relationship; Friendship; Case Fic; Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence (mild?)
With any of the following ratings: 1) suitable for general audiences; 2) non-explicit sexual content; 4) mild to moderate violence or depictions of non-sexual mature themes;
I am willing to create for the following squicks and/or kinks: torture; domestic abuse; alcohol/drug abuse; character death

I want to receive:
A fanwork of the following type(s): fic... or, taking inspiration from someone else's entry here, art for one of my own works.
In one or more of the following parts of fandom: Books: Doyle - Canon. TV/Film: Granada TV Show; Elementary.
For one or more of the following relationships: Holmes & Watson Gen/platonic life partners only please. Het romance leaves me generally cold... and indeed I'd prefer the work not to be romance-centric, though background pairings of any sort would be fine/cool. I'd love to see exploration of friendships and families of choice (I know what I like and it is complex emotional relationships.)
I like stuff in the following categories: Angst; Hurt/Comfort; Friendship; Case Fic; Friendship (friendship seems to be listed twice? I'm cool with that); Post-Reichenbach
With any of the following ratings: delete any that do NOT apply 1) suitable for general audiences; 2) non-explicit sexual content; 4) mild to moderate violence or depictions of non-sexual mature themes;
I wouldn’t mind any of the following squicks and/or kinks: alcohol/drug abuse; character death

Please include further details about what you’d like to receive: I am weak for Victorian literary allusions. I love opera, and would love to see Holmes and/or Watson loving it too. Would you like to write one of Dr. Watson's many untold cases? I would love to read about it! I really like Watson's tendency to wax poetic about landscapes; feel free to indulge it. Also, I lived in NYC for most of the past decade and I miss it, so if you want to indulge in analogous cliché-free city-atmosphere for the Elementary!verse, go nuts and I'll probably go misty over it. I'm a feminist historian, so if you want to set Holmes & Watson loose on the social ills of late Victorian England, go for it.

Special requests: I'm also happy to write expansions of canon, e.g. what happened to Nancy Barclay and Henry Wood after the events of CROO, or Violet Hunter's subsequent career, or what happened leading up to the episode at the Hotel Dulong, or what was up with the Trepoff murders, or Matthews, who knocked out Holmes' left canine in the waiting room at Charing Cross... etc. I am professionally good at research, so if someone wants a textured late C19/early C20 context, I can provide it. Other specialities include angst and literary allusions, and oddly specific knowledge of Anglicanism. Oh! and, as mentioned above, knowledge of NYC. I don't want to write something that ends in Holmes & Watson estranged or with a strained relationship. I'm perfectly willing to work them back from that, but I love them very much and I need them to love each other.
