Delightful! All the instances of Kincaid + dogs do not mix are good fun (though I especially liked the clever explanation for why Holmes comes to Dartmoor later than Watson in HOUN!) and it all comes so charmingly full circle in the end.

Hee. :-) I don't know this 'verse except passingly from other Holmestice stories, but it sounds like you captured their charm and banter excellently. I loved Kincaid's outrageous lying about his accomplishments in the beginning, too, and Watson being so completely unfazed by it.
