This was brilliant and mythic: the origin story of the birds. (I've always wondered.) What a leap of imagination and what a description of egg-laying!

I loved visualising Sherlock dozing on John's back between his plates as John grazed and John stomping on some scurrying thing when Sherlock couldn't hunt and didn't want to eat. Just an incredible transformation.
