Oh anon, this is spectacular! (Plus, I hadn't read that story of Scoffy's and now I have and loved it, so double-thanks!) I love the differences between the round-faced Mycroft in his slacks, jumper, and tie and scrappy-looking Greg in his Pink Floyd tee and dirty jeans and shoes. I am fascinated by the intricate textures of this piece in the clothing, the woods and rocks, the log Mycroft's sitting on, their skin and hair-- it's all so beautiful! I especially love Mycroft's face, specifically his eyes and the paths the tears take rolling over his cheeks. Thank you so much for this beautiful, thoughtful, splendidly-drawn piece- Scoffy's so lucky! Bravissima!!!

Thank you, honey! I was enchanted by the way Scoffy described some of the scenes in this fic, so it was a treat to illustrate it. (Most of the time -- trying to figure out the forest background was tough.) And you know how much I love angst, so drawing sad Mycroft and concerned Greg was just fun.
