Thank you so much for another successful round of Holmestice! The mods want to say THANK YOU to all the creators that joined us for this round. You put in a lot of hard work and made some really great fanworks. If you'd like to post to AO3, you may do so at your leisure. If you'd like an AO3 link on your DW entry, just send us an email and we'll add one.

Reveals and the Master List go up on June 27th; until then, please enjoy reading and commenting on all the lovely fanworks. Creators, please do NOT respond to comments (except on AO3, which maintains anonymity) or post your fanwork elsewhere on the Internet until reveals go up in the community.

We'll also publish treats right through until reveals: if there's a prompt out there that intrigues you and you want to whip something up for it, please do! Just send it to holmestice@gmail.com, using the regular submission guidelines.

If you'd like to guess at who created what in this round, a list of all the participants is below the cut. Go ahead and take a guess! It's all in good fun.

Well, that's it for this round!

We've posted exchange gifts for 41 fanwork creators in just under 2 weeks.

Reveals and the master list will be posted on the summer solstice - Monday, June 20th.

In the mean time, read the fic or view the art or listen to the podfic. And comment here or our AO3 collection to let these creators know how much we've all appreciated their work.

If you'd like to take a guess about who created which work, feel free to leave it in the comments. But we won't tell until the 20th. :)

And to tide us over until the January 1st posting of the Master List: a guessing post!

Before we get to the guessing, thanks so much for everyone who participated in this round of Holmestice, especially our pinch hitters who stepped up to take on difficult assignments at the last minute. You folks made it possible for us to post a wide range fo fanworks, and even a few in some Holmes adaptations that were new to us.

Feel free to add your guesses about who created which fanwork to the comments on this post. Don't worry about getting them wrong; that's half the fun!

Also, don't forget to go back to some of the fanworks you may have missed and leave some comments.

Below the cut is a list of our participants for this round, to aid in your guessing.

Thanks again!

We have decided to bump up our schedule a bit, in light of the BBC Sherlock series premiere, and post the master list on Monday, December 30th. Until then, feel free to add your guesses about who created which fanwork to the comments on this post. Don't worry about getting them wrong; that's half the fun!

This concludes our first round of posting! Many, many thanks to all the wonderful artists, authors and vidders who made this exchange so much fun, and especially to the pinch-hitters who worked hard to make sure that everyone who created a gift received one in return. A huge thank-you also to the original dropper-outers who took part after all – that was fantastic and brought us up to an amazing 81 participants. Not bad at all!

We'll be back next year if you want us to, but for now: guessing post! Until the Master List goes up on January 1st, we invite you to take a look at the following list of participants and guess who wrote or drew or manipped or vidded or whatevered what. (Don't worry about getting it wrong, that's half the fun!)

We also encourage you to catch up on your reading/marvelling and perhaps leave the odd comment if you find something you've enjoyed. Comments are love. :)
